She is the daughter of Hety (Ch Winterwell Hety Wainthrop JW) and Brian (Sh Ch Barleyarch Arun JW). Hety has passed on some of her traits to Puddy, but luckily not the snoring! Puddy is a wonderful hunting dog - she will fill the game bag. She is a classic pointer and retriever, and has been worked on partridge, pheasant and on the grouse moor.Awards in spring pointing, Blenheim 2009 The Judges would like to pay special mention to Trows, s Winterwell Miss Puddleduck JW who on both runs worked with pace and style and was a pleasure to watch.Unfortunately the only game she encountered was a single hen pheasant which she staunchley pointed, flushed and remained rock steady .it is a shame that the guidelines for adults exempt an award other than a point on partridge despite this GSP's excellent hunting.It is not the fault of the bitch if the only available game on her beat prevented her from achieving the highest of gradings Judges: Keith Scattergood & Larry Wilks.
